The thematic path dedicated to Porto Badisco promotes the batch of images related to the prehistoric sanctuary situated in the karst complex of Badisco (Lecce). It follows the studies of Paolo Graziosi, from the discovery of this sanctuary in 1970 until the publication of the results in the book series Origines - Studi e materiali pubblicati dall'Istituto Italiano di Preistoria e Protostoria. The digitized images have been realized within the project "Virtual Accessibility to the Historical Archive of the Italian Institute of Prehistory and Protohistory", with the contribution of the Fondazione CR Firenze and MUR.
